We all had a bad night's sleep, the hotel was nice, but hot and noisy. I'm struggling with eating after the ride, luckily I have some reserves. We set off soon after 7 this morning to try and miss the heat of the day and so far the strategy has paid off with a lovely ride through the champagne vineyards.
